God is busy, I’ll wait!

So guess what? We couldn’t find our names on the American Lottery Visa winners list. That means only one thing: we’ll have to come up with a better plan if we really want to live in the US. Back to the drawing board :).
Such news is hard to swallow, but these days a new version of me takes over. A year ago, my nerves would be all over the place. Now I’m just waiting. Could you believe that I felt joy for those who did win? Who am I? We both keep our chins up, cause we are aware of one thing only: His timing is always perfect.

Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord.   Psalm 27:14

We now pray for over two years to find a solution for our American dream. It’s a conscious dream, without being so naive to think that America is a dream land, where people live in luxury, eating lobster and drinking wine. We have a TV and also a brain, so a fool’s paradise is out of question. Although it seems a piece of cake for Him to make us happy, God remains quiet. I like to believe that He's busy with something bigger, like world pace. Truth is, God wants us to wait. And learn. And obey.

A caterpillar middle name is " Patience". It knows God has a great plan already made !

In the last year, our relationship has grown so much. We became more wise, patient, forgiven. When we will be prepared, when He will smooth the path for us, then it will be the perfect moment.

Till then, we have to believe and wait, even that means waiting forever and a day !

Her Post- 5 Things I Learned From Being A Wife

“Education consists mainly of what we have unlearned" - Mark Twain

This guy is totally right! Being a wife it s a never ending learning process, so knowing that keeps my curiosity at the highest level.

Also, being aware that I do not know everything about marriage and love allows me to take a step back and recognize that some things can't be controlled. Along the way, we both felt like staying committed and invest time in our relationship needs hard work.
Love and marriage go together like the horse and carriage...
So here's a few things that I learned from being a wife and hopefully you ll share some more from your experiences:

1. My partener is an endless source of surprises. Do all surprises supposed to be good? I ll say no! I was surprised to find out that he sucks at buying me gifts. Skip the flowers, cause he rocks at that section. But I found a way to suggest him to I want without saying with words. I make a comment or I get very interested when passing by some earings.

2. Sometimes, I might experience jealousy on his career. I mean, I m so gratefull for his job and his supportive coworkers but there are moments when I find myself feeling sad cause I haven't find a good job yet. I quickly remind that I m still young and smart and there's like 0 chances nobody will hire me. Maybe jealousy it s a hard word anyway!

3. I m part of a new social group. One day, it just hit me! I m no longer just a college girl or a girlfriend, I m a wife and therefore I get to connect with other women like me. This new status make me appear more credible in front of people and it's kind of honoring that somebody addresses me with “ Mrs”.

4. We're like a new born cell that has to grow. I feel more responsable for my education and I m more concerned to enlarge my knowledges. Why? Because I have the desire to be the best of what I can be, in order to put a strong base of our family. We already have strong values, but I know that the two of us will accomplished more than we can ever dream.

Pay attention at your " family cell". It s more that rocket science!
5. At some point, respect has to take charge over love! I should have put this one first. I look at my neighbours, the couple with whom we're sharing an apartment and I see where the lack of respect leads. You don't know yet? First, they lie each other. He's a smoker and she doesn't know it ,and she gives money to her sister behind his back.

Then, they tend to be cruel to each other. He tells her : “ This food tastes awfull, my mother makes it better” and she sais to him : “ I gave you enough money. What am I, a bank?” ( cause she earnes most of their income). And thirdly, they don’t share their lives. She tells me everything about her work , even when I m not in the mood for this and I m not her best girlfriend either. He s more quiet and keeps things for himself.

I respect my husband enough to tell him some days that I m cranky and not capable to hear what he has to say about work. And he respects me enough to say that he needs to watch his show without my voice in his ear cause then I ll get upset because he doesn't listen.

Being a wife resembles a lot with being a college girl. In order to get satisfaction, I have to make my homeworks and be consistent!

Her Post- What is your six-word story??

just found out that Smith Magazine Web site readers are having a lot of fun doing a challenge. They suppose to sup um their love stories in just six words. That s even harder than Twitter! But I love beeing creative and I love even more showing off with my husband cause he s really a good catch. Enough with bragging…I hope he ll never read this cause he can easily get excited about compliments .

So, here are some of the “ stories” on the site:

But our domestic partnership was notarized….
Your new wife is too friendly.
there’s nothing sex can not fix.
Finally found love, at age 41.
Note to self: avoid head cases.
He wasn’t worth the panic attacks.
Chocolate is the coward’s bad apology.
Pet-sitting for ex-husband describes amicable divorce.

I was tossing and turning about what to write, what will be the most representative thing for us. I came up with these:

Real love takes a pretty good team.

Without him, a martini without olive.

From playing games to playing marriage.

“Forever”, to little to be with you.

Love turns routine into a journey.

Sweat off for a marriage, enjoy results.

7 years between, makes perfect balance .

I feel chosen every day, that s love.

I hope you cold be more inventive . It s still seven in the morning so my brain it s a little stiff. All in all, this game is great because you get at the bottom of your relationship .

What is your “ six-word story”?

Her Post- A gift that costs nothing than persuasion

Yesterday we celebrated six months of marriage and FIVE and ½ years of relationship. Holly Moly that s a lot of time and I m only 21. But trust me, it s was an adventurous roller coaster and I m waiting more to come.

Because I didn t want to give him an ordinary gift just so we can mark this day, and since he was sweet enough to write such a beautifull and funny post and thought about something boldy…

Don t trust in my " innocent" smile. There is more from where that little plan came

I went to college and ask all my colleagues I can find at that class to accept to be tape recorded by me as they said a few words for Cosmin. I told them what s the reason that we celebrate and they told me it was a great idea. I managed to raise five people that I recorded while saying Cosmin that “ Andreea loves you very much, that much that she asked us to deliver the message. Have a happy marriage!”

When we arrived home I coldn t wait dinner so I rushed him to check out his present. I too recorded a message. He was very surprised and when he was able to talk he told me that I m much better than him at making surprises and he s jealous! Mission completed!

This week it s a crazy one and breaking out from normality it s always a good thing.

What was the most crazy, out of this world gift that you ever made for somebody??

Her Post- The girls who disbelieves bad horoschope

Hello, there! This is Andreea. If you wonder why I m so talkative it s because I m born this way…and because I don t have a job yet. I m a student, a young wife and a part time volunteer editor at a news website. They don t pay me, but I get to write and learn about online mass media, I get to take part at some public events and the best of it, I own a journalist card. Plus, I don t fell the pressure to write a specific thing and I don t have deadlines.

Today was another experiment breakfast day. I eat banana oatmeal and I think it s better cold than hot. Is still morning here in Bucharest ( 8: 13 am) so I m catching up with blogging and reading random stuff..like horoschope.

I just can t help it. I like hearing or reading about my sign( I m Scorpio and Cos is an Aries). The thing is that my brain is set to ignore the negative comments. For example, if the pretty lady from Tv tell me that “ The Scorpio will have problems dealing with stress”, I say myself that are millions of scorpions out there so somebody will be stressed, NOT me. But if the news are bright, bring it on.

With that said, I better start writing articles for my part time job so I enjoy the rest of the day doing…more articles.

p.s. Dear hubby, if you read this in your lunch break, please don t forget calling Razvan to book us tickets at cinema for the “ Little fockers “, at 19:15 tomorrow night. Kisses!

Her Post-Life out of the box

We are not special at all. If you take us individualy, you’ll see that it’s no sparkle at all. But God brought us togheder and that’s a very special package. Yes, I kind of like the comparisons.

When I think how our marriage will be, a weird and funny image pops into my mind . You know those boxes, very brightfull, very colorfull, whitch seem to be empty but once you open them a little clown comes out into your face. That’s it! That’s what we are.

A relation like that just has to be playfull and sincere like the smile of the clown. Now, the puppet has an arch stick to his but. That means nothing’s stabile, not the bad days , not the good days, but we will have to cope one with each other and find a balance.

Untill today, our life has been spontaneous. One day we were having no home, no jobs, the next day we re have both and more. We grow up togeder, teaching what love really means and we learn from every fight. We still do. ..Fight. But at the end of the day, he knows I was able to risk my life for his love, and I know he gave up to the confort of his family for to be togheter
