Her Post- Why I Know For Sure That My Marriage Is Hanging On A String?

We have been married from seven months now. Seven months are a short period of time but you know what they say…You never really get to know a person, even after years of marriage !

Since we have tied the knot for less than a year now, I assume that I can t know all the deep stuff that my husband is hiding in his dark soul ( I officially made myself think at him as a serial killer…and I find it sexy).

I hope I wont end up like this one day!
The one thing I do know for sure is what makes him happy! Let’s see…He likes all fish based products, he likes to play, he likes to travel and he loves small surprises. After filming a couple of my class mates saying that I love him, as a 6 months married gift, this time I choose balloons.
I felt like kindergarten kid all again!

By this time, my lungs were as swollen as these flying cuties!

You might remember that we re temporally fall in love of animations. For this little spontaneous moment, I was inspired by one post I wrote the other days: Why is Healthy To Stare at Airplanes and Sip Cheap Wine?.

I thought it will be quick, easy and fun. BUT IT DIDN T! It was time consuming, messy and I had to come up with a plan B. My balloons were so bad at staying in the air and I almost kissed myself for buying ten of them.

I tell you, my room was a war field. I even thought squesing my butt under the bed!

When I understand there s no way my gift will last until Cosmin’s arrival home, I grabbed my phone and did some pictures. He liked it even better since he was having a busy day at work and after I e-mailed him the pictures, he was screaming in my ear a very happy “ Thank You”.

It all pays off in the end!
I love that our 7 month of marriage is now hanging on a string of balloons and will last forever!

Her Post- What is your six-word story??

just found out that Smith Magazine Web site readers are having a lot of fun doing a challenge. They suppose to sup um their love stories in just six words. That s even harder than Twitter! But I love beeing creative and I love even more showing off with my husband cause he s really a good catch. Enough with bragging…I hope he ll never read this cause he can easily get excited about compliments .

So, here are some of the “ stories” on the site:

But our domestic partnership was notarized….
Your new wife is too friendly.
there’s nothing sex can not fix.
Finally found love, at age 41.
Note to self: avoid head cases.
He wasn’t worth the panic attacks.
Chocolate is the coward’s bad apology.
Pet-sitting for ex-husband describes amicable divorce.

I was tossing and turning about what to write, what will be the most representative thing for us. I came up with these:

Real love takes a pretty good team.

Without him, a martini without olive.

From playing games to playing marriage.

“Forever”, to little to be with you.

Love turns routine into a journey.

Sweat off for a marriage, enjoy results.

7 years between, makes perfect balance .

I feel chosen every day, that s love.

I hope you cold be more inventive . It s still seven in the morning so my brain it s a little stiff. All in all, this game is great because you get at the bottom of your relationship .

What is your “ six-word story”?

Her Post- A gift that costs nothing than persuasion

Yesterday we celebrated six months of marriage and FIVE and ½ years of relationship. Holly Moly that s a lot of time and I m only 21. But trust me, it s was an adventurous roller coaster and I m waiting more to come.

Because I didn t want to give him an ordinary gift just so we can mark this day, and since he was sweet enough to write such a beautifull and funny post and thought about something boldy…

Don t trust in my " innocent" smile. There is more from where that little plan came

I went to college and ask all my colleagues I can find at that class to accept to be tape recorded by me as they said a few words for Cosmin. I told them what s the reason that we celebrate and they told me it was a great idea. I managed to raise five people that I recorded while saying Cosmin that “ Andreea loves you very much, that much that she asked us to deliver the message. Have a happy marriage!”

When we arrived home I coldn t wait dinner so I rushed him to check out his present. I too recorded a message. He was very surprised and when he was able to talk he told me that I m much better than him at making surprises and he s jealous! Mission completed!

This week it s a crazy one and breaking out from normality it s always a good thing.

What was the most crazy, out of this world gift that you ever made for somebody??

Her Post-Other dark holes

We didn’t knew what harmony means. We might have seen it in other families, our neigbours, our colleagues. He grow up hearing how his drunk father was yelling at him, his mother and sister, and sometimes physical violence was involved. Not the proper treatment for a child, ha’ ? Cosmin’s life was a chaos.

Mine too, if remember how me and mother lived with grandpa’s. No father at all, as he decided not to know me and left us even before my birth. Never ever knew him, although we live at maximum fifty miles appart. They, my grandparents, used to shout at me “ We should have left you at the orphanage, that’s the place for a brat like you ! “ My mother tried to rebuild her private life and to move avay, but they always had something to comment about the man she chosse. Indeed, she rarely made good choices. The first guy was nice and brought a doll the same hight as me. He than start to overprotect with my mother, telling her not to talk with other men, not to be near the opposite sex. The gealousy was hard to endure. The next one, was a married man. She find out later, when his wife revealed their marriage. I didn’t liked him eighter… And so on, till she found herself lonely and fourty, without her parents to boss her around, managing her life, guiding her (in a negative way).

Later she met a man, who divorced for her. They now have an odd marriage, cause bouth of them have their dramas. I’m almost out of this ecuation, and we keep in touch just to say hello and to send me money till I have a job. I barely remember I have a mom. Cooking is a major passion, but I learnead it from books, Tv or blogs, not from her.

Apparently, none of us knows the definition of harmony, but we make it work and we try to fill that gap , the place where it supposed to be the memories, vacation with families, picnics, laughing , joy, and parenting love.
