Her Post- My Plan To Fight Fear and Win

This post was meant to be about why I’m not an average girl, something light and funny, just enough to put a smile on your face in a middle of the week day. Turns out...It's a little more serious!

Today it is all about making a Plan. It’s not just a Plan, it’s a commitment. Today I let go of Fear. This horrible, sneaky, two-faces feeling that haunts me every single moment and crawls into my mind whenever times are getting harder. Fear is what keeps us distant of Him. Do you consider yourself a believer, a man who trust in God and recognized Him as a Superior Force?? And why do you still fear?

My tendency is to underestimate...Yes, we are so small and yet so capable to do big things.

In order to be fearless, I have to let Him take care of me. Being a scare little mouse offends God, because it is like I totally ignore his power…He said it before: I will never leave you, nor to forsake you. (see Hebrews 13:5).

So from this day, I make a commitment to God and to myself to banish Fear and doubt from my life. I am not going to fear anymore of not finding the right job, but I’ll try to do my best applying and searching with optimism and faith. I refuse to struggle anymore, I refuse to deny His will.

God is playfull. Blind man's bluff is his favorite game. Don't be shy, do not fear!

My never endless steps Plan is:
  • Make a little God box ( nope, this is not my idea) where I’ll write everything that worries me in that moment and let Him deal with my complains.

  • Be gratefull each day. I’ll make a conscious effort to name thing for which I am gratefull, even smaller ones.

  • Take action. I’ll try to do my best for maximizing my chances in terms of a career. Applying, searching, reading and creating new mass media content will be on the top of the “ To do’s”.

  • Visualising my Job. For many, this step is against all I’ve wrote above. I firmly believe that the more you fill yourself with joy and good thoughts, the more He has room to interfere. People visualize not because they believe in a magical formula, but because this is God’s tool as well.

  • Keep track of my feelings. This is huge. It means hard work and the strength to push away Fear.

Do you have a certain Plan or do you want to get rid of something that makes you feel vulnerable?

Her Post- There’s room for everybody

Breathe.  Just stop for a second being so damn caught in the middle of your daily, small, superficial races. My mom always said that…Well, my mom didn’t really cared much about this stuff, but I’ll say it myself : There’s plenty of room for everybody.

My friend got a job. And he didn’t even tried hard or wished for it. My competitive self couldn’t stop wondering why God choose him instead of me, who I pray each day for an opportunity like that. I was angry, disappointed and ashamed of my thoughts. What human being could be so selfish to feel that for a friend?

Try beat your personal record. You'll find that it's a a deceiving battle.

I eventually figured it out. We are “trained” from childhood to compete. From getting a better seat for a concert, to having a bigger paycheck. That’s why we constantly feel the pressure to do better, be smarter, and if we don’t take action we are called “one of those people who settle for less”. But who can decide for another what is less?? My sister in law wanted to be a saleswoman and to have kids. Why is that “less” if she is Happy? At least  she’s not competing for goals that she doesn’t really care about just to Do Better.

See through your eyes and keep it simple. Life isn't a struggle.

What does the Bible says?

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”

Galatians 6:4 “ But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor”

Galatians 5:26 “Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. “

Set yourself free from the trap of envy. Be gratefull.

So today I’m more humble and more aware of all the room we have here, on earth. I’m really bad at math and I can’t count the possibilities that God created for each one of us. Tear apart your little box and start exploring His paths, without looking right or left. Do it NOW !

Her Post- Friday Theatre Night and God's wink

Hi, there! I hope you all have been waiting this weekend. I know we did, cause tomorrow hubs is going to help me remember how to ride a bike. You see, when it comes to balance , I’m a mess. C. says there are 70% chances that I can get back on track in no time.

The only way to find out is by counting all my bruises in the end. For some people are the hands and for some is the face, but in my case the legs are the one thing that tells you how my live have been so far.

I'm sure you can spot some bruises in this picture taken last summer.

I have scars from childhood when I fell from a tree, I have marks from the time when some glasses fell over my right leg and I have recent bruises from my static bicycle. Never did something to get rid of them, but I heard that adding oranges into your diet help bruises heal more quickly due to vitamin C.

Sometimes, it's better to trust somebody who has little brain and spends days chasing his tail .

Anyway, beside getting hurt, I also know how to enjoy a night with hubs. Yesterday night, we went to see a theatre show, called “ Trouble at The Opera” . Funny thing, the action took place in Cleveland, Ohio. The play was a comedy and we continued to laugh all the way back home, wondering why we stopped going the theatre in the first place.

Being such a Drama Queen, I loved everything about last night performace !

Now, we are literarly walking on air. This morning, C.was on his way out to work (Saturaday's part time schedule) and I was watching the morning news. I didn't even pay much attention to it. Then it hit me. A young female anchor anounced that :

The Lottery Visa winners are no longer valid due to a computer programming problem, the results of the 2012 Diversity Lottery that were previously posted on website have been voided.  They were not valid and were posted in error.  Therefore, a new selection process will be conducted based on the original entries for the 2012 program !!

Oh, man ! These are some serious good news for us. You can read more about the desillusion of not having our name on the winner's list HERE. Maybe God isn't busy anymore !

Her Post- Bitchy morning and an attempt to fit in a suitcase

I can’t believe I’m writing a post while I’m on my way out to school in the middle of the day. I woke up this morning to a boy who had tummy aches and instead of mothering him, all I did was to act as if he’s fine. I can’t deal with the thought of him being ill. I feel alone and in the helpless knowing that I can’t count on him. I’m weak, I know.

Poor guy went to the office a little confused, but at least I gave him a kiss and I said “ I’m  sorry”. Thank God that his colleagues were much more friendly than me. My husband received a delayed present and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. In case you didn’t know, Saturday was his 28 birthday .

If you can't get my sense of art, that's too bad cause it's called " Do your best with a shity icing and let the candles save the day"

Anyway, I got to pay for my mean behavior. After rushing like crazy to get to school, the teacher canceled our class. Here I was, with a ton of time on my hands and relatively far away from house.

With so much paper work to chew lately, I kind of lost out of sight the step count, a personal campaign that I started 2 weeks ago – “Move your hairy ass” . I tackle down some miles, while having my favorite snack: a protein bar.

it had flaxseeds and carob powder and it keept my hunger away till lunch.
I’m have exactly 2 minutes to move away from the laptop and run.

If he can do it, I can do it! I just hope the guy washes in socks!

Our radio teacher is bringing a special guest from America. If you won’t hear of me anymore, it means that I convinced the guy to let me hide inside his suitcase and I’m eating my first real hotdog! Wish me luck.

Her Post- Celebrating Me and millions of women

Happy Women s day to me and to you, ladies that read my blog! Today is 8 March so in most parts of Europe , this day is dedicated to all women. I look forward to see what kind of flowers I ll receive today, but I ll enjoy it no matter what.

Today I plan to:

1. Tell myself 3 good things about me that are NOT physical.
2. Say something nice about other two women either it s about their hair colour or their sense of humor.
3. Take a moment to cherish this day and to be aware that, in this very moment, I Breath the same time with other amazing creatures, just like me. I belong to a community, a very unique one. I m  a Women!

Words are useless when comes to what God s has made! All I know is that it s a crime to hate our bodies, to distrusts our instincts or to disbelieve our purpose in life. Because when we do that, we hate/distrusts/disbelieve God. We show Him that his art is just a piece of chopped wood that comes alive.

I, more that others, made myself suffer. I let others made me suffer. I let them, meaning they hurt me because I allowed them to. It s not about beauty or about kindness. It s about LOVE and FAITH. The two single things that should matter.

I love life, I have faith that God it s right beside me and I love what He does with me every day.
